How transparent blocks behave.

There are a few blocks in the game that are both transparent to light and can have Redstone Wire placed on them.

Behavior[]

  • Ingame Redstone On Slabs

    Some wire on top of a transparent block

    Wire can be placed on top of them and signal will travel across it normally
  • Ingame Pinch Examples

    Image showing how certain blocks don't pinch wire

    They do not pinch wire when it's traveling up or down a staircase and you place them above it, and signal will travel normally.
  • Ingame Slab downward signal

    Signal does not go directly down off a transparent block

    Signal will travel up onto a slab, but not down directly off of it.
